While the Japanese lineage focusses more on personal development and meditation practices, the Western lineage is more oriented towards the aspects related to hands-on treatments for oneself and others.

Yes! It is always great to be able to learn from different teachers. Every teacher adds their own personal experience to the class, and provides a unique point of view for the student.
We offer substantial discounts for Reiki Masters who didn't train with us, so that they will be able to more easily afford to sit on a Shinpiden class with another teacher. In our experience this results in a very enriching experience, so we are glad to be able to help in this regards.
